What this policy covers
This privacy policy explains how the mobile game Arrow Puzzle (the “app”) handles information when you play it. The app is published under the package name com.tapaway.arrowpuzzle.
How the app works
Arrow Puzzle is an offline logic game where you clear a board of arrows in the right order. The game is played entirely on your device. There is no account, no sign-up, and no login. You do not create a profile and you do not give us any personal information to play.
The short version
- The game does not require an account or sign-up.
- Your game progress, coins, and settings are saved only on your own device.
- The app does not access your files, photos, camera, microphone, contacts, or location.
- The app shows ads through Google AdMob, which uses your device’s advertising identifier.
- The app does not use any third-party or first-party product analytics.
What we do NOT collect
- Your name, email address, phone number, or other personal identifiers (unless you choose to send them to us through the contact form).
- Your precise or approximate location.
- Your files, photos, media, contacts, calendar, camera input, or microphone input.
- Any account or profile data, because the game has no accounts.
What stays on your device
Your campaign progress, daily challenge history and streak, shape-department progress, coin balance, hint balance, and your settings (sound, vibration, theme) are stored locally on your device using standard on-device storage. This data stays on your device, is not uploaded by us, and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Permissions the app requests
Internet access
The app uses the internet only to serve advertisements (Google AdMob) and to load Google’s consent form. No game data or personal data is sent to any server of ours.
Advertising ID
The app declares the advertising ID permission because Google AdMob uses your device’s advertising identifier to serve ads, as described below.
Advertising via Google AdMob
We keep the game free by showing ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process the following on Google’s servers in order to serve and measure ads:
- Your device’s advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android).
- General device information such as device model, OS version, language, and approximate region.
- IP address and ad interaction events.
In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, the app presents a Google-certified consent message (Google’s User Messaging Platform) on first launch so you can choose whether ads are personalized, and you can change that choice at any time from the Privacy option in the app’s Settings. You can reset or remove your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings. Google’s use of advertising data is governed by Google’s own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy, and AdMob’s practices are described here: support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. The only data leaving your device is the advertising data received by Google through the AdMob service described above, which Google processes to provide and measure ads under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not run our own analytics and do not send your game data to any server.
Children
The game is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will respond.
Data retention
On-device game data (progress, coins, settings) stays on your device until you clear it in the app or uninstall the app. Data held by Google AdMob is retained according to Google’s policies.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data on our own servers, there is nothing on our side for you to access, correct, export, or delete. For data Google may hold about your device’s advertising identifier, you can manage your preferences in your device settings or via Google’s ad settings page: adssettings.google.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the game evolves. The current version is indicated by the “Last updated” date below. Material changes will be published at this URL before they take effect in the app.
Contact
Questions about this policy or the game can be sent through our contact form. We’ll reply to the email address you provide on the form.
